BLUE BLUE uses vintage power looms because they create a fabric texture modern looms cannot. Based on late-18th-century technology, they run slowly and are far less efficient, but we keep weaving our denim on them in Kojima (Okayama).
For the first wash of your denim, wash it separately from light colors using a non-bleach detergent, as color may bleed.
To enjoy the aging of your piece, wear it often and wash it less frequently. This allows the natural fading and texture to develop, creating a unique look over time.
